Government Action: PM Launched 3 High-End Covid-19 labs in Noida, Kolkata and Mumbai
Prime minister Narendra Modi Launched High-End Covid-19 Labs In Mumbai, Kolkata and Noida. It is the action taken by the government to fight against the disease.
On Monday prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated three High COVID-19 testing facilities labs through video conferencing in Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Kolkata (West Bengal) and Mumbai (Maharashtra). This is the right time to fight the battle against the novel Coronavirus in the country.
During this inauguration, Prime Minister said “due to timely decisions taken by the government, India’s condition is better as compared to other countries in terms of deaths due to COVID-19. India’s recovery rate is higher than in other countries and improving on a daily basis.
These metro cities are the hub for youths they came to make their careers and fulfil their dreams. Delhi-NCR, Kolkata and Mumbai are big economic centres. With the launch of these three high-end testing labs, India will test 10,000 more samples every day.
Increasing the number of tests will assist in early detection and treatment, thereby helping fight the spread of this virus. India’s COVID-19 tally crossed the grim 14 Lakh mark on Monday, It recorded 708 deaths and the highest single-day spike of 49,931 cases reported in the last 24 hours, as per the data of health ministry.
Prime Minister said, ” Our Centre announced a package of Rs 15,000 crore at the beginning of this Coronavirus pandemic. In January we had only one centre in India for coronavirus testing”
but now the country India has more than 11 lakh isolation beds and 11,000 COVID-19 facilities.
PM Modi further emphasised on the efforts being put in the manufacturing of more PPE kits and face masks in our country.
India creates a success story. Six months ago not a single PPE manufacturing unit was there and now today we have more than 1,200 manufacturers who are producing more than 5 lakh kits. PM Modi said, “India is the second biggest manufacturer of PPE kits now”.
