Kozhikode Kerala: Air India Flight Crashed
In Air India flight (IX-1344) from Dubai with 190 onboard skids off runway at Karipur International airport around 7.45 pm today.
, both pilot who lost their lives to save 189 onboard among 19 dead. The flight was flying under Vande Bharat Mission.
The initial reports said, about 40 ambulances have reached the accident spot to rescue all the passengers. At least 170 people have been rescued safely from the flight.
Former Indian Air Force (IAF) test pilot Captain DV Sathe and his co-pilot, have died, injured people are being treated at the MIMS hospital and Baby Memorial Hospital, Calicut.

A helpline (0565463903) has been set up for families of passengers of IX-1344.
