Indian Premier League 2020: Dream 11 Wins IPL Title Sponsorship

The BCCI on Tuesday (today) officially announced Dream11 wins Indian Premier League 2020 title sponsorship rights with a bid of Rs 222 crore.

The IPL title sponsors Vivo which annually paid Rs 440 crore was removed from the investment after the ban Chinese products wave in the country and the Indo-China border tensions.

Dream 11 is the Sports fantasy company has emerged as the highest bidder for the title sponsors which will be available for a period from 18th August 2020 to 31st December 2020.

The online education platforms Byju’s bid for Rs 201 crore and Unacademy Rs 170 crore. Dream11 outbid these online on Tuesday of 222 crores. The Tata Group which had submitted Expression of Interest did not bid on Tuesday.

The IPL 2020 will be held from September 19 to November 10 in the UAE this year.
